3 tier pink cake

Ugh, this was a challenge.  You know when you have expectations, and you bust your behind reaching that expectation, and it just doesn't turn out?

K, so I learned (I think) what I did wrong.  I didn't put enough cake batter in my pans, to really make it topsy turvy.

it just looks like a 3 tier cake.....Must perfect the topsy turvy.

This cake was completely carved.  No "car cake mold" for this one.

I love it :)

It was a quick order, and I am happy with how it turned out :)

This week, I have 2 BIG cakes to make.  1 for my son who is turning 9 (seriously?!? Where does time go??) and one for a client who will be celebrating her 26th birthday :)

Happy Retirement Uncle Eric

My gorgeous uncle Eric is retired after 492 years of working for OC Transpo!!!  (ok, maybe not THAT many years, but I'm sure it felt like that!! lol)

My aunt Cookie "hired" me to make his cake :)  I had so much fun.  Thank you to my "sous-Chef" for all the hard work you put in with me :)

FIEW!! I am SUPER busy lately!!
I need to update my website STAT!!!!

I have a few cakes on the go, and a few cakes left to post.  Please don't be mad, I've just been swamped (and I just got my motorcycle, so when I'm not baking cakes, taking care of a bunch of boys or working my full time job, I'm RIDING!!!)
